Aquaman (21Â December 2018)

Jason Momoa will be Aquaman in the first solo outing of the superhero in 2018. He has already appeared in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (in a cameo nobody really liked or wanted) and he will pop-up in the Justice League as well (based on the trailer, he is already a fan-favorite).
Literally nothing is known about the plot. Other than the mentioned star, Amber Herd will reprise her Justice League role as Mera, while Willem Dafoe will also return as Nuidis Vulko after a cameo in Justice League.
James Wan (Insidious, The Conjuring) is directing.
As far as the villain of the movie is concerned, Aquaman will have to face Ocean Master (Patrick Wilson), who is apparently the king of Atlantis in this continuity, as well as Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). Most surprisingly, however, was the announcement of Dolph Lundgren as another possible antagonist, King Nereus (we believe, however, that he was introduced in the movie in order to provide a bit of backstory for Mera).
Aquaman sounds more and more interesting with each piece of news dropping.
