Harbinger

For about a year, we already knew that Sony was planning to bring characters from the Valiant Comics to life. As soon as the Spider-Man deal was announced, it was pretty obvious that the studio will search for an alternative.

While Bloodshot was announced, in 2015, to be the first in the series, most recently the news broke out that Sony is planning for a Harbinger flick to open the Shared Universe. Thus, we can expect for the first movie to lay the foundation, presenting this new world and its superpowered inhabitants.

We don’t know how much Sony will follow the original storyline. However, if it happens so, then it will be something new in the modern age of superhero movies, since its focus will be on outcasts from a covert evil organization.

It remains to be seen when the movie will actually be released.
