Stepping into the absurd

From here on, the rumors begin to become more and more absurd. If until now what we presented was in the realm of possibility, what follows is far from having any chance to happen.

Thus, we can say that Star Wars: The Force Awakens will see the return of the most despised character from the prequels. Apparently, the newest of all the rumors says that we haven’t seen the last of Jar Jar Binks. According to this new fan theory, the animated character was more than just a stupid nuisance – he was in fact a Sith warrior and master manipulator, who always pursued his own goals. In the end, he was supposed to become the biggest threat in the galaxy.

Apparently, George Lucas himself came with this idea, of having an unassuming character becoming the big baddie along the way. However, after the fans’ reaction, he changed everything and turned Jar Jar into a secondary character. The rumor goes on to say that J. J. Abrams picked this pitch and that the much-hated Binks will have a major role in the following movies.

Utterly insane, we know – but, who knows? Nobody – because we are still in the dark, as far as Star Wars: The Force Awakens is concerned.
