The new Jedi(s)

Since Kylo Ren is, obviously, playing for the dark side, someone needs to take his (or her) spot into the light – thus, Star Wars: The Force Awakens needs to introduce some new Jedi masters or, at least, apprentices. And this is pretty basic, after all, since the franchise has always focused on the exploits of a Jedi.

So who will he/she/they be?

Of course, the first one everybody thinks about is Rey, who mirrors the story of Luke Skywalker (based on what we have seen in the trailers). Even if she isn’t spotted holding a lightsaber, the fact that she may be a Skywalker makes us almost certain that she is the new hero of this new trilogy.

There is another character who is also believed to be force-sensitive – the newcomer Finn, who is actually seen wielding a lightsaber and even going against Kylo Ren (in the snowy forest, a scene which sparked the rumor that he may be dead). How can any of these two stand against an already trained Ren Knight? We have no idea.

Another possibility is that these two are both force-sensitive and on their way to becoming Jedi Masters. Which also leads us to another rumor (which has very low chances of being proved truthful), that these two will make the first on-screen Jedi couple.
