Knights of the Old Republic

If Disney will ever want to make Star Wars movies (and not just Star Wars stories) without the Skywalkers, then the studio should go back to the roots (or thereabout), with an adaptation of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

And there the studio will find Revan, who played a very important role as both a Jedi and a Sith (does that remind you of someone else?). This could be the perfect beginning for a new trilogy in the same Star Wars universe, which can lead to both prequels, sequels and spin-offs of its own. As said, this Universe is so vast that a movie per year doesn’t seem enough.

Of course, Disney shouldn’t go straight to the game and translate it on the big screens – without the Skywalkers, the studio has complete freedom over the past, the present, and the fate of Revan.
