Would She Play One Of The Vishanti?

Agamotto the All-Seeing, Omnipotent Osthur and Hoggoth the Hoary make up the Vishanti in Doctor Strange comics. They are the extra-dimensional entities with immense magical powers and they have aided Stephen and other good sorcerers. While Agamotto and Hoggoth are depicted as male characters, Osthur is a female in the comics. So, we might see Rachel playing Osthur in the 2016 flick.

However, Agamotto is the most treasured tool among the Vishanti for the Sorcerer Supreme. While talking about picking Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, Marvel President Kevin Feige described the character as more of ‘a mantle’ rather than ‘a specific person’. So, you never know if they believe the same for Agamotto too! They might just cast Rachel McAdams as Agamotto and offer the same explanation! Doctor Strange seems already strange enough and there’s no guarantee that the project won’t get stranger!
