Will She Play His Mother?

That's obviously a weird assumption "“ no doubt about that! But since there aren't a whole lot of female characters in the story arc of Doctor Strange, we cannot totally snub this one. Rachel McAdams might end up playing the role of Beverly Strange "“ the mother of Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange!

In the comics, the death of Stephen's mother is what weighed on him morally enough to turn him into a ruthless person. Rachel might play the role of Beverly in flash-back sequences reminding him of his human side, sense of responsibility or something like that. Her role might be somewhat like the role of Uncle Ben in Spider-Man films, as per the speculation by Inquisitr!

But we definitely hope that Marvel doesn't get that strange with Doctor Strange! We don't want to see Rachel McAdams as Benedict Cumberbatch's on-screen mother, do we?
