The Phoenix Force

This is yet another Marvel character which was depicted in a comic book movie – X-Men: Last Stand, which is also considered the worst X-Men movie to date.

It can be considered one of the most ridiculously overpowered beings in the Marvel universe, simply because the Phoenix Force was able to defeat even Galactus – and that alone says something about this entity.

Best known for taking over Jean Grey, it was depicted in the Last Stand as, well, a powerful telepath able to destroy Professor X and a being which can manipulate matter to an atomic level – at least that is what we thought we saw. But was that enough for the avid comic book reader? No, not at all. It wasn’t even enough for an average moviegoer, since the powers depicted in the film were rather commonplace.

After all, the Phoenix Force is said to be manifestation of the universal life and passion. Can you even comprehend that?
