Colin Farrell
Colin Farrell is the last on this list not because he isn’t a skilled actor – but because the rumor is that Warner Bros. is already courting him for the role. And since Farrell has surrounded himself with the aura of a bad boy (who has aged quite well, actually), I don’t see why this rumor wouldn’t be true.
He’ll next appear in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which is another Warner Bros. movie. So why not? The studio does trust him.
Sure, he’s had quite a few duds in his career – Total Recall is just one of them, while the second season of Tre Detective was atrocious. But he also gave us The Lobster, In Bruges, Seven Psychopaths, and even Fright Night (come on, that remake was actually awesome).
