Sure enough, Marvel can get dark at times and DC is doing a bang up job at destroying cities. But only Deadpool shows us the violence of which an actual superpowered being is able.

Stabbing? Check! Sword fighting? Check! Brains all over the floor? Check! Everything is here!

And you know what? I’m all behind this kind of portrayal! And not just for Deadpool. You can’t have a supervillain who doesn’t do horrendous things to people… Wait. Deadpool is not even an actual supervillain!

So these are all the sexy things about this trailer – from the actual sexiness of Morena Baccarin to the violence, this first Deadpool trailer is perfect. Sure enough, it doesn’t have the flash of heavy CGIed action, like Batman v Superman or like Age of Ultron, but still.

Fox – do it better this time! Change the way superheroes movies are being made!
