Deadpool – From the Trailer

The Deadpool trailer was all about irresponsibility. It threw away everything that we could have expected from an anticipated superhero movie and gave us much more in return. But what does that mean?

Some people may believe that this new version doesn't do Deadpool justice either, because the studio made him something like a walking meme-generator, rather than a character twisted by his diseases (with humor being, in a way, a self-defense mechanism). But I am not one of those people.

So here are the sexiest moments from the Deadpool trailer (and who are not necessarily connected to Morena Baccarin).

The crude Deadpool humor

Yeah
Yeah

You don't see too much swearing in superhero movies. Actually, you don't see at all, not even in the very few R-rated superhero flicks made until now. And that is why the foul language used in Deadpool might seem out of place.

Leave aside the testicle with teeth and the other commentaries about the new look of Wade Wilson. Leave aside the creepiness of the I'm touching myself tonight line. The most bizarre exchange must be between Deadpool and Blind Al.

Admit it - seeing an old blind woman speaking like that is way out of place.

And speaking of which, how did Deadpool meet Blind Al in the movie? We do know that he, as Wade Wilson, must have lived with Vanessa before. And who would trade the foxy Morena Baccarin with an old blind woman?

Speaking of which, on the next page - Copycat!

And this is yet again something new for a superhero flick - Deadpool features raunchy sex scenes, teased even in the trailer. We don't really know when they will take place (since the movie will feature plenty of flashbacks), but we are sure looking forward for a more detailed look"¦

For educational purposes, of course. How come? Because Morena Baccarin portrays Copycat in the movie, a shape sifter who (at one time) forgot who she was and couldn't maintain a solid form any longer. At least in the comics, that is"¦

So yeah - we're looking forward for those sex scenes not just because the actress is hot as hell. But also because"¦ because"¦ Yeah.

On the next page, the necessary cameos!

Colossus and Negasonic Teenage What the Shit?!?

Colossus being an actual Colossus
Colossus being an actual Colossus

Actually, scratch that - the scene in which Deadpool acknowledges the awesomeness of Negasonic Teenage Warhead's name isn't in this trailer, though it was in the Comic Con one. It doesn't really matter, because this new Colossus looks awesome, way better (I might say) than the Daniel Cudmore one.

But this raises another question - what do the X-Men have to do with Deadpool? There is no hint as to why Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead appear in the movie. We might just believe that the Weapon X program is after the mutant with the cool name"¦ But that won't cut it.

In any way, the fact that Colossus makes an appearance should tell us something about the future Deadpool appearances on the big screens. As in: X-Force!

And where does Deadpool stand in the whole X-Men Universe?

Speaking on Weapon X, check out the next page!

Weapon X - will there be more characters?

Ajax and Angel Dust
Ajax and Angel Dust

You must know that Wolverine is a Weapon X creation, right? However, while we haven't heard anything about Hugh Jackman cameoing in Deadpool, another rumor appeared - that Garrison Kane will also make an appearance in the movie.

Sure enough, this is a wild guess, a rumor sparked by Rob Liefeld himself. But seeing that the Weapon X program is actually alive and well, some other characters than just Ajax could make an appearance.

Speaking of which, the Ajax from the comics received, through the Weapon X program, the ability of foresight (at a certain degree). Could this be the reason why they are after Negasonic Teenage Warhead?

On the next page, the 4th wall's broken!

I’m touching myself tonight

There's plenty of breaking the 4th wall in the Deadpool trailer. And this is awesome! It's more than awesome actually seeing and hearing that the studio has kept close to the source material.

Sure enough, we knew that this will happen. However, when Deadpool looks at you and says that he's going to touch himself later on, at night, you cannot not smile.

And this isn't the only time in which the character breaks the 4th wall. One other scene could be the one in which Wade Wilson asks for a suit that is neither green nor CGI.

On the next page, the sexiest thing about Deadpool!

The violence

Motha...
Motha…

Sure enough, Marvel can get dark at times and DC is doing a bang up job at destroying cities. But only Deadpool shows us the violence of which an actual superpowered being is able.

Stabbing? Check! Sword fighting? Check! Brains all over the floor? Check! Everything is here!

And you know what? I'm all behind this kind of portrayal! And not just for Deadpool. You can’t have a supervillain who doesn’t do horrendous things to people… Wait. Deadpool is not even an actual supervillain!

So these are all the sexy things about this trailer - from the actual sexiness of Morena Baccarin to the violence, this first Deadpool trailer is perfect. Sure enough, it doesn't have the flash of heavy CGIed action, like Batman v Superman or like Age of Ultron, but still.

Fox - do it better this time! Change the way superheroes movies are being made!
