Black Bolt will certainly appear in the Inhumans movie, which will be released in 2019. It is a long way until then, we know, but we can expect for the ruler of the Inhumans to appear in other Marvel productions as well. After all, the Infinity War will engulf the entire Earth, so"¦

Furthermore, we know already that Inhumans exist in the MCU (courtesy of Agents of SHIELD and, maybe, Avengers: Age of Ultron). So who is the first one to pop into mind for the role of Black Bolt?

Vin Diesel as Black Bolt

Sure enough, Vin Diesel is already the voice of Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. However, he has teased the role on several occasions, on his Facebook page and, quite honestly, he is Black Bolt. Just take a closer look and you will see him there, hidden just like his voice.

Furthermore, it would make a great parallel to Guardians of the Galaxy. If in there Vin Diesel was heard but not seen, as an Inhuman it will be the other way around. So yeah - Marvel needs to make this happen!

Zachary Quinto

This seems like an odd choice, doesn't it? But you know what? Zachary Quinto is perfect when portraying hidden, silent rage - and Black Bolt is all about that. There are quite a few scenes in Star Trek when the actor controls the character's anger so well that you can feel the chills on the spine.

Even more, when he finally explodes, you can actually see that he means business.

Trai Byers

Who is that? Trai Byers might be unknown at this moment, but so was Chadwick Boseman before being cast as Black Panther. So naming Trai Byers as Black Bolt wouldn't be such a surprising move.

Even more, this actor already made a name for himself in the hit series Empire, where he outshines everybody when he is on screen (and maybe if Marvel doesn't cast him, DC will consider him as a Green Lantern - he is that good).

Josh Duhamel

While Josh Duhamel has appeared in quite a few movies until now, he still hasn't proven itself as a leading star. He is, in a way, just like Chris Pratt before Guardians of the Galaxy - and we all know what that tiny movie did for the Parks and Recreation star"¦

So maybe Marvel will cast him and let him prove himself as Black Bolt. Not an obvious choice, but also not an actor to be cast aside.

Jason Segel

Sure enough, at this moment, you are thinking that we are out of our minds. Jason Segel for Black Bolt? This surely must be a joke"¦

Except it isn't. Just like Chris Pratt and Paul Rudd, Jason Segel is mainly known for his comedic roles (Forgetting Sarah Marshal and How I Met Your Mother). However, he had plenty of time to demonstrate his acting ability in this year’s The End of the Tour, which might just be a career defining movie.
