The Dark Knight (2008)

This is one of the best superhero flicks of all time – so it certainly deserved one of the best trailers. And it had one – with Joker in the front and center. With an excellent soundtrack, some subtle foreshadowing, intense scenes (both action and otherwise), as well as some excellent one-liners, the trailer for The Dark Knight announced that Christopher Nolan has done it again.

The movie broke records, just as it should have, and scored the first Oscar for an actor playing in a superhero movie.
