While Man of Steel can be considered the first movie of the DC Expanded Universe, it just set the foundation stone with just a couple of minor teases – Batman v Superman, on the other hand, contained so many references to future DCEU movies that many feel it has collapsed under their weight. And maybe that’s true; after all, Batman v Superman wasn’t compared with Iron Man 2 for no reason.
