The last trailer for Batman v Superman showed us that DC can make a joke – but the thing is that it wasn’t such a great one (that moment when Wonder Woman appears and the others are bewildered). Of course, Zack Snyder said that the path towards that exchange of lines is the one that counts the most – but when the hook is missing, is that still a joke?

There is also the introduction of Lex Luthor at the high society event, introduction which doesn’t inspire confidence, with Jesse Eisenberg being too over the top (and sort of winking at the audience). Is this the patch which should be taken?

Man of Steel had its humorous moments and it was perfect just the way it was, from this point of view. Is Zack Snyder overdoing it right now? It appears so.
