If it wasn’t for Avengers: Age of Ultron, he would have been the worst MCU Avengers. But this character gained new depths during this year’s blockbuster and actually clarified his special relationship with Black Widow – you won’t see such a great friendship in real life, though.

So Hawkeye, even if he didn’t have a solo film, ranks better than the mighty Thor. And we believe that his character will become even more complete during Phase III – mainly because he seems overall more interesting than just some guy who, basically, cannot be harmed. It is his weakness which makes him more appealing.
