4.Terrence Howard as James Rhodes in Iron Man

Terrence Howard was cast in Iron Man as Tony Stark's buddy James "Rhodey" Rhodes just when Marvel was debuting with their productions. At the time, we did not know if he was a good choice or a bad choice. He proved to be a bad one as he didn’t make us feel that he’s going to become War Machine (Rhodes becomes superhero War Machine). His acting didn’t convince the audience.
The actor, like many other Marvel misfits had a conflict with the studio regarding $7 million dollars that were jacked from him. Why would they have done that? Well, they thought that Robert Downey Jr. would be a better investment and they directed the money to the one that is indeed moving on in the MCU.
“It turns out that the person I helped become Iron Man "¦ when it was time to re-up for the second one took the money that was supposed to go to me and pushed me out,” Terrence Howard told BusinessInsider.
