After filming for 84 days on the Gold Coast of Australia, Thor: Ragnarok has finally wrapped up production. And on the last day of shooting, before "getting fired", Taika Waititi has posted a Facebook Live video in which he takes us on a little walk around the movie's "sci-fi space wasteland" location.
The livestream continues for around 14 minutes, and at one point, the Thor: Ragnarok director is joined by Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie). While neither of them is in costume, Thompson is seen sporting her Valkyrie face paint, so it may be considered a partial first look at her character!
None of the other major cast members - Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Jeff Goldblum, Cate Blanchett - can be spotted on the video. Hiddleston, according to Thompson, is "dead"! However, we do see a handful of costumed extras and crew members.
We’re also introduced to Chris Hemsworth's stunt double, Bobby, who not only pulls off action stunts, but also does all of his kissing scenes because the actor is married!
Waititi stays very cautious throughout the livestream, making sure that he doesn't spill the beans. We see him "whip past" a few things that he isn't allowed to show us. But the director actually fails to keep himself from letting something unexpected slip. He introduces us to an actor who is portraying Miek in Thor: Ragnarok.
Those who are familiar with the Planet Hulk storyline would recognize the character as an alien who teams up with the Green Rage Monster on the planet Sakaar. Since Waititi's November 3, 2017 release partially adapts that particular storyline, it makes sense that Miek is a part of it. Check out the video below!
