The Joker definitely has the looks, the laugh and the ways to come off as one of the creepiest villains in the DC universe.
We've been graced with loads of both leaked and official pictures of The Joker as it will be portrayed by Jared Leto in the upcoming Suicide Squad.
Neon green hair, metal teeth caps, Bordeaux red lipstick, a generous supply of tattoos: enough to make this particular incarnation look like "Marilyn Manson meets a new hairstylist".
I for one don't think it's necessarily a failure, like most fans do, but I'm surely curious how Leto's version sounds like.
Leto is, after all, a rock star, so I'm sure he'll use some of his experience as lead singer of Thirty Seconds to Mars to pull off a particularly creepy Clown Prince of Crime.

Try as I might, I can't figure this one out. Movie Pilot maintains he quotes a line from Arkham Asylum, more precisely, "You’re always welcome here", but I wouldn't put money on it.
Clearly, there's a lot of laughing - well, it's The Joker, of course there's has to be some spine-chilling laughing in there. And some coughing. Definitely some coughing.
There are some articulate lines in between laughs and the throat-clearing moments, but I for one can't make sense of them.

If I could have, I'd also be able to say if this recording is, indeed, a leaked material from the set. Should we take the recording seriously and consider it genuine material?
It does sound genuine, there's no question about that. But the poor quality of the recording prevents us from understanding the words, identifying Leto's own voice and, thus, deciding whether this is the true voice of The Joker as we'll experience in Suicide Squad.
