While it’s just the first solo movie of an MCU newcomer, Spider-Man: Homecoming is still one of the most anticipated movies of 2017. After all, the character is probably the most well-known and beloved Marvel comics superhero. Furthermore, the fan base is already huge, thanks to the two franchises released until now by Sony.
But even if the movie did finish shooting quite a while ago, we still haven't seen any official pictures or clips released. There were, of course, tons of pics leaked from the set, as it happens so very often with superhero movies.
The fans present at this year's San Diego Comic Con were treated to clips from Spider-Man: Homecoming. So, most likely, the first trailer will be that same footage, with the special effects completed. But when will it be released?
According to Comic Book, Disney plans to boost the sales of one of its last movies by attaching a first Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer to it. The website thus reports that those attending Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will also be treated to a first glimpse of the web-crawler's first solo outing in the MCU.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be released in the US on the 16th of December, which means that we’re a month away from seeing the first teaser/trailer for Homecoming. However, this piece of news should be taken with a grain of salt, since the website doesn’t mention its sources.
Anyway, the first sign that a trailer is released is almost always the classification of the clip. So keep your eyes peeled for that!
