Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner AKA the Hulk has become one of the most popular live action characters on the planet since he made his first on-screen appearance in 2012’s The Avengers.

Including cameo appearances, Ruffalo has appeared in seven Marvel Cinematic Universe movies to date (The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame) and it’s more than likely that he’ll continue to appear in the franchise going forward – hey, maybe he’ll eventually get that solo movie we’ve all been craving.

Of course, it’s worth pointing out that Ruffalo wasn’t the original Bruce Banner in the MCU – that honour went to Edward Norton, who left the franchise following his sole appearance as the character, which came in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk.

Throughout his time in the MCU, Ruffalo’s character – as both the Hulk and Bruce Banner – has developed dramatically, so there’s a lot of information associated with him; people, places, quotes, actions, accomplishments and more.
