There was a time when Sharon Stone was among the most sought-after actresses - for both her acting skills and her sex appeal. Where did those times go? We ask because some outlets report that the Catwoman actress will have a part in an upcoming Marvel flick, as if she wasn't the one to appear in Casino, The Quick and the Dead, and other excellent movies.
But Sharon Stone may come back into the spotlight, since she has indeed revealed that she has a small part in an upcoming Marvel movie. And this means one of two things. The first is that Sharon Stone will make a cameo appearance, pretty much as Glenn Close did in the first Guardians of the Galaxy. But the second possibility is more enticing.
During an interview with James Corden, the actress said that she will appear in a future Marvel film. And all is well. However, she did mention that it was a wee part a couple of times, as if dropping a hint. Could her small role could actually be that, literally small?
So, as soon as Sharon Stone repeated that she has a wee role, the rumor began to spread: is she going to play Janet van Dyne in 2018's Ant-Man and the Wasp? Michael Douglas will be in it - and he appeared with Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct"¦
And if that’s true, it opens up yet another possibility. As we saw in Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man can now do more than just shrink. If Janet van Dyne is to appear in 2018, will Scott Lang shrink one more time, against his mentor’s advice? Or will it be Hope van Dyne who does so?
