The incredible Marvel superhero Hulk has had two different solo versions released in 2003 and 2008. But either of them happened before the introduction of Mark Ruffalo as Hulk in The Avengers. Ruffalo will be reprising his role in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron and most likely in the third and fourth installments as well.
But, are there any possibilities of the superhero to come up with a solo outing in future? Marvel doesn't have plans for a Hulk solo in their phase three, so the answer seems likely to be "˜No'! But Ruffalo doesn't think that way! He's pretty upbeat on the possibility of a Hulk solo! Here's what he says in a recent interview with "˜Empire':
"Who knows where these things will go, but as Bruce is able to impress his will on the Hulk - going into The Hulk and being inside the Hulk when he's raging - The Hulk's will is also growing and able to impress upon Bruce"¦ It'll be interesting to see if that ends up being what would be the next Hulk movie."
Age of Ultron To Dig Deeper Into Characters!
The gigantic green monster cast calls the Age of Ultron "˜much more character-driven version' of the superheroes than its precursor, The Avengers. In the sequel, according to Ruffalo, each of the characters has their "˜own cool little thing happening'. He mentions the absence of S.H.I.E.L.D. as what creates such opportunities for the makers.
Bruce Banner Designed The Hulkbuster Armor!
After comparing his character with "˜a wild card', "˜loose cannon of the group' and "˜an atom bomb', Ruffalo proceeds with a set of words that seems to confirm that it is none other than Bruce Banner who created the Hulkbuster armor! Here's what the actor says:
"I think that there is, obviously, the day when everyone expects it to go wrong and that day comes. And they're ready. And Bruce designed the contingency plan. As much as you feel Bruce has some mastery over it - certainly, with "˜I'm always angry' and he can turn into it at will - I still feel that there's some part of him that doesn't completely trust it and doesn't completely trust himself."
