During the Walker Stalker Con's "˜An Evening with Norman & Jeffrey', The Walking Dead stars Norman Reedus and Jeffrey Dean Morgan revealed what comic book characters they'd like to play.
As far as Jeffrey Dean Morgan is concerned, the actor was supposed to play the Flashpoint version of Batman in the upcoming Flash movie. However, this won't happen any longer, since Warner Bros changed its plans about the Worlds of DC.
So now Jeffrey Dean Morgan said that he'd very much want to play Lobo:
“The only one I want to play is DC and Lobo. He's badass. Marvel, I don't know, everyone that's in it is pretty good. I feel like all the greatest characters, they're working.” (via CBM)
The actor has previously appeared in Zack Snyder's The Watchmen as the Comedian.
A Lobo project has been teased for quite a few years. Most recently (and this means last February), Warner Bros was eyeing Michael Bay for this project. Since nothing else was heard since then, it's safe to say that Lobo won't be happening anytime soon.
As far as Norman Reedus is concerned, the actor said that he'd play either Ghost Rider or Silver Surfer:
"Ghost Rider would be fun. Silver Surfer would be fun." (via Comic Book)
Norman Reedus has been the top choice of the fans to bring the Ghost Rider to life in a movie. However, with a version of the character already introduced in the MCU in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., there are no chances for this to happen.
However, the Silver Surfer has now returned to Marvel, following the Disney/Fox merger. So Norman Reedus could still have a shot at playing this character.
