The Runaways

The Runaways could be like the Guardians of the Galaxy of MCU’s Phase IV. Pretty much unknown for the general moviegoers, they have gathered quite a following since their first appearance in the comics, in 2003.

For the younger audiences, this team of young superheroes rebelling against their supervillain parents is perfect for adapting. Furthermore, because the girls from the team outnumber the boys, a Runaways project would diminish the criticisms concerning the MCU’s sexism.

Of course, we cannot hope for them to be introduced during the Civil War – in the comics, the Runaways oppose the Superhero Registration Act. However, until MCU’s Phase IV arrives, there is still time for them.

Plus, they can join the West Coast Avengers in the final film of Phase IV.
