A heartfelt reunion and the first exclusive look of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always premieres globally on April 19th on Netflix.
Based on the Japanese tokusatsu franchise Super Sentai, Power Rangers is an entertainment and merchandising franchise built around a live-action superhero television series. Power Rangers debuted in 1993 with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. This action series is a life-like experience for superhero lovers that quickly touched the sky and gained immense popularity. A series like this becoming a phenomena in the 90s was not normal. The success of this action series procreated 3 feature films and 30 seasons of the popular franchise, that is still on air today. Each season has managed to showcase different replicas of the Rangers, their guiding rules and principles. The entry season gained immense love and success, following which Mighty Morphin Power Rangers has joined the list of rebooted classics to come back to screens this year in a special reunion.

This announcement was made by Netflix on Tuesday. Netflix took to Twitter to make this big announcement and the response was of course, overwhelming. Titled, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, this stand-alone 30th Anniversary special will premiere on April 19 and will reunite the franchise’s most loved Rangers. The Rangers namely- David Yost as Billy/Blue Ranger, Walter E. Jones as Zack/Black Ranger, and Barbara Goodson, the voice of Rita Repulsa. Additional confirmed cast includes Catherine Sutherland as the second Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger Kat, Steve Cardenas as the second Mighty Morphin Red Ranger Rocky, Karan Ashley as the second Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger Aisha, Johnny Yong Bosh as the second Mighty Morphin Black Ranger Adam, Richard Horvitz as Alpha 5, and Charlie Kersh as Minh, the daughter of the original Yellow Ranger Trini.
Everyone knows how David Yost is proudly known for his amazing role as Billy Cranston, one of the first teenagers with attitude. He was selected to become the Blue Power Ranger in the Mighty Morphin series. There was no doubt that his role would gain so much love from the fans and it does, even today. Interestingly, Billy was the only original Ranger to last through the entire MMPR series and the second-longest serving Power Ranger in the franchise. He also expressed his excitement on Twitter.
