X-Men: Apocalypse Reshoots to Include Wolverine

Wolverine

With X-Men: Apocalypse, the Mutant Universe will see a further change in the traditional continuity, the one which started with the first X-Men film, back in 2000. The first time things changed most notably was with X-Men: Days of Future Past, when Bryan Singer introduced the concepts of time travel and alternate dimensions.

Thus, X-Men: Apocalypse will continue and will further erase the events described until Days of Future Past. We will see the younger versions of all the X-Men seen on screen until now and we will see them facing threats which wouldn't have been possible without the existence of the above mentioned concepts.

Nonetheless, even if everything has changed since 2000, from the cast to the series of events which culminated with The Last Stand, there is one common denominator: Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. From the very beginning, he has appeared in all of the X-Men movies, even in the First Class, though only with a cameo (but what an excellent cameo it was!)

This string of appearance might break, however, with next year's X-Men: Apocalypse, since the actor hasn't been officially announced. There are quite a few rumor on the web, though, concerning his appearance "“ and the most recent one hints that he will only make a brief appearance.
