Quicksilver's story expanded
Another reveal made by Simon Kinberg concerns newcomer Quicksilver, who was the protagonist of the best scene in X-Men: Days of Future Past. According to the producer, Quicksilver will have a personal reason for joining the X-Men.
As we all know, one of the 4 Horsemen of Apocalypse is Magneto himself, who is somehow convinced to become one of the powerful minions. In Days of Future Past, we saw Quicksilver saying that his mother dated someone who controlled metal "“ so he will evidently search for his father, only to learn who he actually is.
Unfortunately, there is no word yet about the powerful Scarlet Witch, which may as well be another surprise prepared by Bryan Singer "“ after all, the reference about her was dropped on the cutting room floor in X-Men: Days of Future Past. So we do know that she exists in this continuity. And if we are to bet on something, that something is that she'll pop up next year, most likely towards the end of the movie.
