Who is Stephen Amell? Well, most of us would recognize him as the actor who plays Oliver Queen in the CW series Arrow. And maybe from next year we will start recognizing him as the actor who also plays Casey Jones - he will make his debut with the character in next year's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.
So, it means Stephen Amell has got two comic book characters under his belt - one from DC and one from Mirage. Would you want to watch him portray another one - a Marvel superhero? If yes, then you can rest assured that the Canadian actor isn't one of those who would say "˜F*ck Marvel' or "˜F*ck DC' just because they are committed to the other franchise!
During a recent live chat with fans via his official Facebook page, here's what Stephen Amell said (via ComicBookMovie):
"I’m up for roles — movie roles — although I’ve never really read Marvel Comics and I was always a DC guy even before I was a DC guy. But it’s not like if I got offered an awesome Marvel superhero, I’d be like ‘No, I can’t.’"
What Marvel superhero would you like to see him play?
He's Unsure about Arrow's Future after Season 5!
During the same live chat, Stephen Amell was asked about the future plans of Arrow. Well, the actor said that he "˜can't really picture' Arrow beyond Season 5. Here's why:
"We were always built to be a five year show, which is a very courageous thing to plan for when you’re just in the pilot stages of something. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t go six or seven [seasons]. I can’t really picture beyond that. But we’ll see. I’m having a blast."
