Power Rangers Movie – New Character Posters Released!

New character posters for Power Rangers movie launched!

Earlier this month, it was announced that the Power Rangers movie will feature at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con International. And if we thought they meant that they would not come up with something, we were definitely mistaken!

This is because Lionsgate has officially released five new Power Rangers character posters. I’m sure you’ve already guessed who these five characters are! Yes, the five characters whose posters have surfaced on web are the five members of the titular superhero team.

Dacre Montgomery's Jason (The Red Ranger), Becky G's Trini (The Yellow Ranger), RJ Cyler's Billy (The Blue Ranger), Naomi Scott's Kimberly (The Pink Ranger), and Ludi Lin's Zack (The Black Ranger) all have new character posters. Check them out below!

The March 24, 2017 release will be the first movie from the Power Rangers franchise in two decades. The first two movies, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, were released in 1995 and 1997. The latest one is a reboot to the franchise.

In the movie, the Rangers will be high school kids who unite to form a team when their small town of Angel Grove - along with the rest of the world – is on the verge of destruction by the alien threat led by Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks). We’ve already been offered our first look at the female supervillain.

And of course, the Power Rangers won't all of a sudden team up; rather, they will be chosen and mentored by Zordon. Last month, it was confirmed that Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston would be portraying the character in the Dean Israelite flick.

The movie has already wrapped up production, so it won't be too surprising if we get its first teaser trailer during the upcoming SDCC.
