One year ago, on the 30th of November, Paul Walker died in a tragic car crash, together with friend Roger Rodas. He was 40 years of age and he still had his life in front of him.
While he is best remembered for his role in the Fast & Furious franchise, the fans loved him for the man he was outside of the set. He wasn't just a star, but he was the man he always depicted in his movies: kind, considerate, always helping when he had the occasion.
The Porsche Roger Rodas was driving reached 100 miles per hour when it crashed and burned. The two friends were coming from Paul Walker's charity Reach Out Worldwide for victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

Co-stars from the set of Fast & Furious were more than just colleagues - they were friends, they were just like a family, as it was said many of times in the series.
Vin Diesel wrote this on his Facebook page: He was a part of so much in my life… long personal talks with my mother or babysitting the Alpha Angel… he took a certain pride in being uncle Pablo… after all, we were filming a scene in FF4 the day she was born, and he being the only one I told, encouraged me to go in and cut the umbilical cord.
He was an important part of my transition into fatherhood… that healthy family member, with the most positive outlook on life…
A year ago today… a year of mourning… and his absence still leaves me speechless. We miss you Pablo…
Never forgotten
While Paul Walker had plenty of projects he was interested in shooting, his last movie will be Furious 7 - at the time of his death, he didn't finish shooting the film. That is why his brothers will fill in for him.
Furious 7 will be released on the 3rd of April 2015. It will be Paul Walker's swan song.
