Olivia Munn: Hopes for Psylocke and Photoshoot

Olivia Munn as Psylocke

Olivia Munn is one of Apocalypse's Horsemen in this year's X-Men movie - but Psylocke is also one of the most underused characters in the movie, given the many fans the comic book character has. We said it before seeing the movie - there was no way Bryan Singer could provide each of the characters with enough screen time. We predicted that Olivia Munn will get the short end of the stick.

There won't be spoilery in this article - but it’s safe to say that the fans want more of her character. And, apparently, Munn wants the same. In a recent interview with USA Today, the actress said that it would be nice if her character returned for further Fox/Marvel movies. The actress expressed an even greater enthusiasm when saying that Psylocke and Deadpool should meet - after all, as the actress said, everything must lead toward one giant movie, in which all of the Marvel characters owned by Fox would meet in one place.

X-Force? Why not? The X-Men: Apocalypse ending is wide open, as far Psylocke is concerned.

Considering how the other actors speak about her contribution to the film, Olivia Munn should return - as Nicholas Hoult said about the fight scene they share, he would have been destroyed by a level seven ninja if it wasn't all make-believe (and that fight scene was one of the highlights of the movie).

In other news, Women's Health magazine features a new photo spread with Olivia Munn as the subject. Many say that she can’t act and that, this could be the reason for her character’s underdevelopment. This might be so, but she does look stunning! Check her out below (via CBM)!

What do you think?

Should Olivia Munn return as Psylocke in future X-Men movies?
