New X-Men Mutants Reaction

There is a year and four months still to go before X-Men: Apocalypse hits the theaters and we have almost the entire cast confirmed. Latest in the confirmation slot was that of the younger versions of Jean Grey, Storm and Cyclops replacing correspondingly Famke Janssen, Halle Berry and James Marsden who'd been playing the roles since X-Men of the year 2000.

Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp and Tye Sheridan are each in their early days of acting career. None of them had such a big franchise under their belt. How did it feel to the three new youngsters when they had the confirmation that they are joining the big superhero franchise? They must have been excited and surely were! But, to what extent? Jean Grey Role Brought Sophie Tears Of Joy!

In an interview with Access Hollywood, the Games Of Thrones star Sophie Turner revealed the emotion of the moment when she first heard she's been confirmed for the role of Jean Grey aka Phoenix. She was on her way to an audition when she got an urgent call from her agent asking her to check her Twitter. When Sophie saw the confirmation, she "˜just started crying' and eventually "˜messed up the whole audition' as she couldn't speak!

In the interview, Sophie also admired Famke Janssen's work as Jean Grey and admitted that it would be a challenging task for her to live up to the mark. "She did such a great job and I just hope I do justice to this incredible character" said the new Jean Grey.

Alexandra Shipp Already Started Storm Preps!

Alexandra Shipp is super-excited about her role of Storm in X-Men: Apocalypse. She's bagged the role of several lifetimes! But the 23-year-old actress realizes the unenviable Herculean task upon her shoulder as she is putting on the shoes of the Oscar winning actress Halle Berry!

On social media network Instragram, the Aaliyah star dropped a video message for her fans revealing the fact that she's already started doing her homework on the mutant. She's been reading the Storm ongoing comic book series written by Greg Pak as a part of her preparations for the mutant role. Here's the video for you!

A Confident Tye Backed By James Marsden!

The new Cyclops, Tye Sheridan, is excited but at the same time confident enough! He's looking forward to playing the mutant role in Apocalypse. The 18-year-old actor revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that Days of Future Past is his most favorite X-Men movie.

The confident Mud actor has been held high by his predecessor James Marsden who'd played the role in four different X-Men movies. In a recent interview with Hit Fix, Marsden admitted that he hadn't ever seen a young actor to be "˜that present and that powerful'. He also expressed his believe that Tye is "˜a perfect fit' for the role of Cyclops. Here’s Marsden’s interview clip for you!
