After a couple of weeks in which new details about Logan have poured in almost on a daily basis, the first trailer for the final Wolverine flick has been released. And it is in no way what we believed it would be. Unlike the previous flicks in the franchise, Logan seems to have left action behind and embraced the drama - an aging and lonely hero who finds out that someone like him exists.
Even better, the movie isn't black and white - the pics released until now were not in color, and neither was the trailer announcement. So all is well from this point of view - we would have hated it otherwise!
So without further ado, check out the first trailer for Logan below!
Impressed? We are, since the plot of the film is made clear even from the first clip (so it isn’t muddled, as it was with the previous films). We don't know how, we don't know why, but Wolverine is now living in a world without mutants. Most likely, it was the Reavers who did it. Professor X is on his dying bed – again, we don't know any details – with a final quest for Logan.
Obviously, there are quite a few questions to be answered. Is Logan's trembling hand a sign of alcoholism? Are those huge scars on his back a sign that he has lost some of his regenerative abilities? Is Donald Pierce the only muscle Logan will have to go up against? Will there be actual black and white sequences, like when we see that individual running up the stairs? What is the connection to X-Men: Age of Apocalypse?
As said, quite a few questions. And we can hardly wait to learn the answers.
