At the world premiere of Suicide Squad, director David Ayer did something that wound up a lot of people. After a fan from the audience shouted "F**k Marvel", he echoed the same!
He did apologize later, but not many have accepted it, as they consider it inexcusable. The Internet is still heated up with fury toward the Fury director, as well as with the fury of DC fans toward the movie critics!
Two members from the Marvel family have responded to Ayer's dropping the F-bomb on Marvel, and they aren't mad at the director.
One of them is Joe Quesada, the Chief Creative Officer at Marvel Entertainment. The other is none other than Stan Lee, the creator of numerous Marvel characters, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and X-Men.
In a recent tweet via his official Twitter account, Joe Quesada asks Marvel fans to give David Ayer a break, as he believes it was "all in good fun".
He also reveals that he is excited about watching Suicide Squad and wishes the director all the best. Check out his tweet below!
Hey Marvel faithful I know you're upset but cut @DavidAyerMovies a break, it was all in good fun. Can't wait to see SS, best of luck David!

Unlike Quesada, Stan Lee's tweet doesn't address the fans. Rather, he asks Ayer to not "feel too bad" about saying "F**k Marvel". Why? According to the legend, it is "a compliment of the highest order"!
There's a video attached to the post where Lee explains why it is such a compliment. Here's the tweet for you!
Hey @DavidAyerMovies – Don’t feel too bad about dropping the f bomb. It’s a compliment of the highest order! https://t.co/uSBokELsUB

Of course, this isn't the first time someone from the Marvel/DC camp has dropped the F-bomb on the other camp. Iron Man star Robert Downey, Jr. said "F**k DC Comics" in an interview back in 2008 while dissing Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight.
Last year, Aquaman star Jason Momoa wrote "F**k Marvel" on a poster when a fan asked him to do so.
And if I am not wrong, neither RDJ nor Momoa apologized afterwards. The Suicide Squad director at least did that!
