Game of Thrones Season 6: Is Jon Snow Coming Back to Life?

Anyone who watched HBO's Game of Thrones: Season 5 saw Jon Snow was stabbed several times which seemingly killed one of the show's central heroes. On the verge of the next season of HBO's most popular series it seems like even those who don't watch Game of Thrones are speculating the return of Jon Snow, the brooding bastard.

Kit Harington who played Jon Snow in season 5 was spotted on set in Belfast and was very active wearing his long locks in his signature man bun. The actor was spotted while being busy in a very animated conversation with a woman who may or may not have been Carice van Houten, the Red Witch Lady Melisandre. Several high-end camera equipments were captured along with the unit.

People around the world immediately started speculating that this wasn't the end of the character and he would rise again. However, in order to abate some clawing doubts we have still been waiting for that visual proof.  Here it is

According to Daily Mail exclusive, it is indisputable that Kit Harington has returned to don a soldier's uniform and maintain that shaggy hair. As per fans prediction, Melisandre will be the one to bring Jon Snow back to life following his brutal stabbing. And if it really happens, fans would be willing to forgive her for burning Shireen alive.

Despite repeated questioning, almost all "˜big names' of HBO are reluctant to admit that Jon Snow could be anything other than dead. Michael Lombardo, HBO programming chief is the perfect example of that. "Dead is dead is dead. He is dead. Yes, everything I have seen, heard and read, Snow is dead."

However, the twist is Emilia Clarke who played Daenerys in the series reckons there is a 50/50 chance of Snow returning. The Red Witch Lady Melisandre, played by Carice Van Houten has been even more positive regarding the presence of Jon Snow in the next season. During London Film and Comic Con she told The Sun "No, he can't be dead. No!"

The Belfast set images come just after Kit Harington hinted that Jon Snow would be returning to this popular fantasy show. During an interview with Belgian magazine Humo Kit said "Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while. I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over." Besides, the actor is still "˜under contract' with the HBO series.

Now that we know, Jon Snow is present in Season 6 it is in no sense a "˜full-blown spoiler' as we still don't know anything about the storyline. It makes sense to have Jon Snow back with a strong storyline. Game of Thrones is a series with sprawling cast and Jon Snow is as close as to the main character. From a story telling perspective, eliminating his character would de-emphasize the Wall's storyline and the looming threat of the White Walkers.

Will Jon take revenge on his former brothers? Meet up with Dany? Return to Winterfall & try to reconnect with his long-lost siblings? Whatever ends up happening, are you excited about Jon Snow's return? Let us know!
