The X-Men character holds a significant grip on the plot

Deadpool tells the story of former Special Forces operative Wade Wilson who after being subjected to a rogue experiment adopts the alter ego Deadpool. With a combo of his twisted sense of humor and new abilities, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Colossus appeared in varying capacities in different sequels of X-Men franchise only to play the part of team muscle. However, what we heard and seen so far, 2016 is going to be the turning point for the character.

Deadpool will be the first Fox produced Marvel film where the activities of Colossus have a significant impact on the overall plot of the film. Having seen a glimpse of the character in the official trailer and also in the leaked online footage it’s a strong prediction that Deadpool has a substantial role for Colossus.

To know for sure, we will have to wait until February as Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero Deadpool will hit theaters on February 12, 2016. But it already created a sense of pleasant impatience, isn’t it?
