Although it shares its year of release with Avengers: Infinity War, Deadpool 2 remains one of the most anticipated superhero flicks of 2018. The first Deadpool installment broke records all over the place. It also proved that Ryan Reynolds is a one-man marketing machine, if not a great actor (Wade Wilson actually mocked him about that in the film).
Can we expect the same for the sequel, as well? Of course we can, especially since Deadpool 2 will introduce a couple additional fan-favorite characters along with those who are returning, such as Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. So Reynolds will have plenty to do until the movie’s release date.
We've already seen a couple of pics from the set, and we’ve been introduced to both Cable and Domino. But the most recent pics make a new reveal: There’s an actual continuity in the shared X-Men universe.
Continuity in the X-Men Universe has been a problem for ages. When Deadpool was released, some mentions were made of the team, and one team member did appear, but there was no hint that the film was taking place in the same reality.
The plan is for the Mutant Response Division to appear in Deadpool 2, which signals that humans do fear the mutants. This has been the case since the first X-Men movie was released in 2000. Check out the pics below!

Of course, it’s not clear at what point in Deadpool 2 the Mutant Response Division will appear. But Cable must come from a future in which mutants are hunted, so the Mutant Division, or Division of Mutant Containment, could be chasing him rather than being a part of the same timeline as Wade Wilson.
Deadpool 2 will be released on June 1, 2018.
