Leader of a nation and superhero at the same time, Black Panther will be the standalone lead character in the namesake movie that will hit the big screens no sooner than October 27th, 2017. However, Chadwick Boseman has aired out that by then he will make two more appearances in the Marvel shows programed until 2017.
The 38 years old American actor has graced us with this release, but he didn't go into details. Captain America: Civil War is not under debate. Boseman will team up with Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. for the hit that is to arrive in theaters in early May, 2016. So, between Black Panther's appearance in Civil War and his solo debut, there's a gap Boseman promises to fill with yet one more entrance.
Lots of speculations about Black Panther"¦
Let's connect the dots. "There's a director on the movies that I'm introduced, but not for Black Panther", reveals Boseman to Variety. Four more of what promise to be smash hits are programmed until 2017. Doctor Strange doesn't seem like much of a possibility: what would be the point of stealing Doctor Strange's thunder right from his first feature?
Will Marvel try to slot in Black Panther in Guardians of the Galaxy 2? Just as unlikely as it is the case with Doctor Strange. Another only remaining possibility is Thor: Ragnorak. But how many of us would actually fully support this conjecture?
Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age of Ultron is yet another title that comes in mind. Chadwick Boseman could impersonate either T'Challa or Black Panther in this one. It is plausible, but no official report backs up this theory either.
"¦ and tons of enthusiasm from Boseman
With a heavy schedule to deal with for the next few years, Chadwick Boseman drips with enthusiasm. "Just being a part of that discussion is huge", says Chadwick Boseman. And he continues his public soul-searching: "beyond excited, it's like to the point where you feel numb and then your mind goes off into, OK, how do I achieve that?".
