The latest news for Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron is that additional shoots will be required. Mail Online reports that Joss Whedon and (evidently) Kevin Feige are looking to amp up the extravagance and kick-ass factor of the sequel.
If you haven't seen the trailer, check it out below and see for yourself - how awesome can a movie get? According to the director and the producer, a lot more!
Should the fans be concerned?
As implied (and as the trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron shown) the movie is more than all right. Furthermore, as far as blockbusters are concerned (and with Marvel in particular), additional reshoots are always programmed after everything is finished.
If you can recall, when Thor: The Dark World was finished, the fans seemed a bit concerned when reshoots were announced. However, when the movie came out it proved that there was no reason to worry at all.
Which actors are scheduled for these reshoots?
Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Paul Bettany (The Vision), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and Tom Hiddleston (Loki) are all supposed to be back on the set of Avengers: Age of Ultron this January.
The actors will be on the set for two weeks - as Kevin Feige said, the studio always plans ahead. In other words, each Marvel movie is supposed to have additional shoots after the production is wrapped.
Is there any other news?
The same reports also say that Joss Whedon will shoot Avengers: Infinity War (part 1 and 2) back to back, in the late 2015, in UK, at the Pinewood Studios.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled for the 1st of May 2015. Avengers: Infinity War - Part I will be released on the 4th of May 2018, while Avengers: Infinity War - Part II will be released on the 3rd of May 2019.
