In the first week of January this year, we came to know that Rogue Cut for X-Men: Days of Future Past will be released this summer; however, no specific date was mentioned. Earlier last month, we came to know from the director Bryan Singer that this extended cut of the movie will be more than 17 minutes longer than the original. Singer, again, a few days ago, announced the release date for the Rogue Cut, which is 14 July, 2015.
Even though Days of Future Past has proved to be the most successful X-Men movie in terms of box-office collection, many have complained for the lack of consistency. So, it will be interesting to see if Bryan Singer manages to shrink such complaints with the upcoming Rogue Cut for the movie.
A Set Of Artwork For Rogue Cut!
20th Century Fox has launched a set of artwork for X-Men: Days of Future Past – Rogue Cut. These images don't offer us something new - as expected - other than the photoshop stuff. Anna Paquin's Rogue and Sir Ian McKellen's Magneto aren't the only characters that feature in these images, even though the Rogue Cut heavily leans on a sequence featuring the two. You also get to see Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique, Sir Patrick Stewart's Professor X and some other characters from the movie. Here are the images for you (via ComicBook)!
Does That Boost Your Anticipation?
Does this set of artwork for X-Men: Days of Future Past seem something exciting to you? To be honest, I haven't felt any kind of a thrill after seeing these images. But the fact that Days of Future Past has been a treat to watch obviously helps the anticipation for Rogue Cut. I think the movie speaks for itself, so these artworks hardly mean anything to me.
