Avengers: Infinity War will be massive. Everyone’s in it, but we still expect that even more characters will be added. And given Thanos' quest and abilities – which include throwing celestial bodies at his adversaries, including the Avengers - can anyone argue? By the way, we’re still waiting to see the official online release of that trailer from the D23 Expo and San Diego Comic Con.
Among the superheroes involved in the Infinity War, Vision is wearing a bullseye, literally right on his forehead. The power within his vibranium body is enhanced by the Mind Stone, an Infinity Stone that’s set in his forehead. So he’s a main target, given the fact that he’s one of the heaviest hitters among the Avengers.
Will Vision survive the coming of Thanos? Thanks to Paul Bettany, we now know the answer!
During an interview with Collider, the actor expressed his amazement at how big Avengers: Infinity War is. He casually mentioned that he still has to shoot the next one, which will most likely be even bigger than this one:
It felt like the biggest movie that I've ever made and will ever make, and we've still got to make the [next] one. It's f***ing crazy! I would come in, often at dawn, because of the length of my make-up, and there would just be all of these twinkling lights. It looked like a town, but it wasn't. It was where all of the trailers were. It was just massive. It's massive! The call sheets are bananas. When you see the list of cast members, you're like, "How is anybody else making a film in Hollywood, this year? How are they getting films financed? Everybody is in this!”
Vision (Marvel)Of course, Bettany didn't come right out and say that he'll be involved. But since he included himself among those who will appear in Avengers 4, we’ll take it as an official confirmation that Vision will survive!
