The biggest sporting event in the world (as the Americans would say) will take place on the 7th of February - Super Bowl 50 promises to be a show to dwarf all the other, from every point of view. So we do expect a record number of special events, concerning the most anticipated movies of this year.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, almost all the biggest studios will present their movies via small 30-second clips (that's about $5 million investment for each of these clips). According to the website, the Super Bowl's main event (as far as the movies are concerned, of course) will be the Deadpool one, with Ryan Reynolds set to make a very-very special appearance.
Deadpool will be present starting from Friday, driving his own chimichanga truck and serving the fans with his favorite snack. On Saturday, Deadpool will take over a neighboring locale, which will be renamed Sister Margaret’s Bar for an official press junket. Obviously, T. J. Miller will also be present, with the duo being responsible for the drinks and for the memorable and fun times.
That's right - if you want to be served by Deadpool and Weasel and if you want to play darts with them, be there a day before the Super Bowl begins!
But Deadpool isn't the only comic book movie to be presented at the Super Bowl. Fox has also plans for X-Men: Apocalypse, though they are not as exhaustive - most likely, we will get a new trailer, if not just a small 30-second tease.
Disney will also be present at the Super Bowl, with the much-anticipated Captain America: Civil War, The Jungle Book, Alice through the Looking Glass, and (of course) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Of course, you can expect for clips from other movies as well, such as Independence Day Resurgence, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Finding Dory, and so on.
Warner Bros is, however, sitting the Super Bowl out. So there is no Batman v Superman or Suicide Squad clip scheduled for promotion. However, many believe that some of the stars of the movie will be present, while some others say that promotion partners of Warner Bros might just surprise everybody and promote the movies themselves.
