Samuel L. Jackson Shares New Look at Captain Marvel

Samuel L. Jackson has been a part of the MCU since the first Iron Man movie. In fact, as time passed, his presence held the shared universe together. After all, he’s teased the course of  the solo movies from 2008 to the present.

After skipping Black Panther, Jackson will return in 2019’s Captain Marvel. Since the movie is an origin story set in the ’90s, Jackson will play a younger, eye patch-less Nick Fury.

So far, Marvel Studios has kept the movie’s plot under wraps, and they’re not sharing many official photos of the characters. Actress Gemma Chan posted the most recent BTS pic of herself in character as an antagonist. And we’ve only seen Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) in a few leaked BTS pics and concept art pieces.

Jackson just shared a pic of himself wearing a Captain Marvel t-shirt via his Instagram account. The image on the shirt provides some hints about the superhero's costume - the helmet in particular:

The helmet, which is designed to resemble Kree armor, was lifted from the comics. None of the set pics leaked so far has shown Larson wearing it, but it’s obvious that the image on Jackson’s shirt is the upcoming film’s version of Captain Marvel.

It’s clear that this leak was no accident, unlike those perpetrated by Mark Ruffalo and Tom Holland. From this point on, we expect to see additional official and unofficial images from Captain Marvel!

Following his Infinity War cameo, Samuel L. Jackson is set to appear in Captain Marvel, which opens on March 8, 2019.
