We already know that Tom Holland - the new Spider-Man of Marvel Cinematic Universe – has completed filming of his introductory appearance (apparently cameo) in next year's Captain America: Civil War. July 28, 207 is the date when the Spider-Man standalone movie releases - so, the 19-year-old English actor should have already started taking the necessary preps by now.
And it looks like Tom Holland has already proceeded well in getting himself ready to play the web-slinger in the solo movie! The actor has shared an image of his recently via his Instagram account which reveals his NEW HAIRCUT! Holland didn't refer to this at all as something related to the Marvel superhero role he's been picked to play - the words "Hair cut or the Johnny Depp look?" accompanied the image. But, those who are familiar with the comics wouldn't need to help to relate them!
The Impossible star's latest haircut resembles to an enormous extent with that of Peter Parker in Ultimate Spider-Man comics as well as the animated series of the same name!
The Image That Reveals Tom Holland's Haircut!
Let's check out the image that Holland shared below (via Instagram)!
And here's an image of Ultimate Peter Parker to help you compare the haircuts!
That actually didn't surprise to me, and I guess it didn't surprise you as well – the way Marvel Studios (and Sony) has moved so far with the new Spider-Man clearly indicated inclination towards the Ultimate version of the character. In that particular series, Peter Parker is a SCHOOL-GOING TEENAGER just like Tom Holland's character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
The New Spider-Man Has Toned Up Muscle Too!
If you didn't notice, the BICEPS of the actor in the image do indicate that he's been training physically for quite a while now. Tom Holland's pumped up a good bit of muscle and he appears to have the physique of a GYMNAST at the moment - which is obviously good enough to fit for the teenage version of the superhero.
