With the second Dark Phoenix trailer on the horizon, a new poster for the movie has been leaked.

It surely seems like 21^st Century Fox is ready to drop a newer trailer for Dark Phoenix, around five months after the first one arrived. We'll talk about it a little later here. But at first, let's talk about the new poster that has surfaced on web before the studio could officially release it. Unlike the first poster, this one doesn't find Sophie Turner's Jean Grey all alone. She, of course, is front and center in the poster, but there are eleven more characters from the upcoming X-Men installment.

To the left, we see Professor X (James McAvoy), Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee) and Quicksilver (Evan Peters). These characters are more likely to serve as the good guys.

To the right are the characters that would probably be on the Phoenix Force side: Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Selene (Kota Eberhardt) and Red Lotus (Andrew Stehlin). Jessica Chastain's mysterious alien shapeshifter also appears in the poster below Jean Grey. Check it out below!

Now let's get back to the second trailer. According to Trailer-Track, the German film board has recently rated a brand new Dark Phoenix trailer with a runtime of around two and a half minutes. While this info, on its own, means that the trailer could arrive any day now, we have reasons to believe that it would hit the web on Wednesday, February 27.

Firstly, Jessica Chastain is set to appear on that evening's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. With Chastain portraying the big baddie of the June 7 release, it would make sense if she brings along the trailer. It must be also noted that the first trailer was launched on a similar show, The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Secondly, Fox's Japanese social media account recently made an announcement (and later deleted it) that a new look at Dark Phoenix would make its way online on Thursday, February 28 in the Japanese time zones. Considering that it'd already be the next day in Japan when the NBC talk show airs, there's hardly any doubt about the trailer debuting on the show.
