Avengers: Infinity War worldwide release is about eight weeks off, but some fresh promo art spotlighting both heroes and baddies – including Thanos (Josh Brolin) – recently popped up online.
Some of the new art pieces include character bios with new details. For instance, although he’s remained under the radar, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) hasn't been sitting idle since Captain America: Civil War. Rather, he’s been working to save the world by taking on one clandestine mission at a time. It remains to be seen whether he’ll officially adopt the moniker of Nomad in Infinity War, but it certainly looks as though he’s become a vigilante of sorts.
Thanos’ bio describes him as a ruthless cosmic threat consumed with saving the universe from itself. The Mad Titan made a similar assertion about balancing the universe in the first trailer.
Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and Spider-Man (Tom Holland) also have new bios, and you can check them out below (via ComicBookMovie)!
In addition to the bios, we have two new promo posters. Each prominently features Thanos with a different group of characters. The first has him grinning alongside heroes Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Gamora (Zoe Saldana), among others. In the second, he’s surrounded by his co-villains the Black Order, which includes Corvus Glaive, Cull Obsidian, Proxima Midnight, and Ebony Maw. There’s also one member of the Outriders in there (via ComicBookMovie)!
Finally, check out this new promo art piece that provides us with our first look at Spidey's Iron Spider suit. Like his suit in the comic books, this one comes with four extra arms (via Instagram's @the_geek_power)!
