MCU – Synopses for Doctor Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy 2

While the past few weeks have been poor as far as anything MCU-related is concerned, Marvel released new synopses for Doctor Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. II today. And since these are the next two Marvel flicks coming to the theaters, it’s about time.

However, just like with every synopsis, don't expect too much insight into these MCU flicks. Thus, the one for Doctor Strange is just an updated version of the first one. The Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. II synopsis just hints at things we already knew.

Doctor Strange will be released on the 4th of November this year, and the updated synopsis is as follows:

Marvel's Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City's Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Benedict Cumberbatch says Doctor Strange movie is 'another moment during Marvel's evolution'!

The synopsis for the next MCU movie:

Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Basically, it confirms that we'll meet Star Lord's father. It also confirms that Nebula will become an ally of the Guardians.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is a much bigger but more intimate film!

When can we expect the next big news for anything Marvel related?

At Comic Con, of course, where the MCU will be present with Vol. II, at least.
