In a different interview, following the one quoted before, Martin Freeman also revealed for whom he is actually working: the American government. So, in a way, we can say that we know that he will deal with Iron Man against Captain America next year. Or don’t we?

Well, the actor also said something else, something which is very intriguing: “So you’re not quite sure which side he’s on. It looks a little bit like he’s playing one game when actually he’s playing another. It’s the kind of character I like because it’s ambiguous and because you don’t know whether he’s good or bad.” (via Comic Book Movie).
