Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator and star of the Broadway hit Hamilton, would apparently like to make his way into the MCU. According to Meet the Movie Press host Simon Thompson, Miranda would love to bring Carnage to the big screen.
In the most recent episode of the show, Thompson described Miranda’s affection for Marvel, and his desire to play the Spider-Man villain in the future, which he had shared with Thompson in a recent interview:
He is a big fan of Marvel. And there is one particular character that he would actually like to play. It's Carnage. He said if Disney and Marvel were looking at doing a Maximum Carnage movie or bringing Carnage in as a character, he wants to be Carnage. Genuinely as a fan, he would love to play Carnage. That's a goal of his.
We’ll have to wait and see if there’s any potential for exploring Carnage’s origin story in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
What do you think of Miranda joining the MCU?
